Sharing a project with a team

You can share a project you own with the team you are in. You don't have to own the team or to be its administrator to do so.

To share a project with a team, you have to dragndrop the project into the team. When you do so:

A project created in a team is shared with this team and owned by team owner, not the player who created the project.

Unsharing a project with a team

Only the team owner* can unshare the project with the team. The only way to unshare is to drag and drop it to "My projects" or to trash. You cannot drag and drop a project from team into any other folder. When the project is dropped, there is a confirmation modal. If to “All projects”, then individual players are preserved. If to trash, individual players are removed.

*Administrators can trash team projects, which is technically unsharing.

Adding players

Everyone in a team or a project can invite others. This is different from how it was before the teamwork update, when only the project’s owner could invite other players. No matter who is inviting, players are counted against the team owner’s plan or project owner’s plan. If you are inviting to a team you don’t own, player meter is not shown. Instead, there is an error if player limit is exceeded.

To add a player to a team, open the team’s modal by clicking on the multiplayer badge to the right of the team’s title.

To add a player to a project, open a player modal either via context menu or by clicking on avatars on project card in dashboard. There is also a player modal in the editor triggered by a “+” above the avatars. Individual players are preserved even if project is shared with a team. They are removed only if project is put to trash. If a project is duplicated, individual players are not on the project’s copy.
