Logic jumps, or branching, allow certain questions to show depending on previous answers. In other words, a respondent is sent down the logic branch. You could say that logic makes a project smarter.

Creating a simple jump

To show a question after a certain option, drag and drop a question’s bubble onto that option.

Longer branches

If you drop another bubble after that bubble, both of these screens will be in the same branch, and will show one after another. The entire branch is highlighted if you hover over the option from which it "grows". If you add a question with a choice — Radio, Checkbox, Pictures, Scale or Rating — then the branch can be broken down further into other branches.

Conditional termination

To make the respondents exit early, put a Last Page into a branch. This technique is used to filter out those who are not the target audience of the survey. For example, they don't play computer games.

Another common use is early completion for those who have not consented to data processing.
