Mentions can be used to personalize a question, output the summary of a questionnaire, show the order amount — in general, refer to a previous answer or variable.

To mention, type @ and select a question or a variable from the drop-down list. If you're familiar with showroom calculations, the mentions in the text work the same way as mentions in a formula.

Mentions are formatted the same way as regular text. That is, they can be highlighted with color and font weight.

In results, if you view an individual response (for example, by clicking on an email or a unique text response), the mention is "expanded". That is, it is replaced with the value as seen by the respondent.

Unlike question text, mentions cannot be inserted into question options. However, there are many other uses for mentions: the link on the last page, emails, calculations and conditions.

In last link

Mentions can be inserted into the “last link”, the link on the last page. Use mentions to forward answers or variables to wherever the last link leads. Most often, you would forward respondents’ names, emails or the points gained.

In emails

Mentions work in the subject and body of an email in the same way as in questions. In this example, a respondent is sent an order confirmation email.
